AORN Initiates Member Newsletter; Olympus Exclusive Sponsor

AORN, the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses, announced it will publish a monthly 16-page member newsletter, starting with the January 2003 issue. The newsletter features member-oriented news including significant activities or new projects, reports from National Committees and national Board of Directors, AORN Patient Safety First initiative updates, and other information of interest to AORN members.

Olympus has agreed to sponsor monthly publication of the AORN member newsletter through June 2003. "Thanks to the generous contribution from Olympus to the AORN member newsletter project, AORN members will receive a newsletter detailing significant AORN news in a colorful, exciting format," says Garth Jordan, AORN Director of Sales.

AORN is the professional organization of perioperative registered nurses whose mission is to promote quality patient care by providing its members with education, standards, services, and representation.
