BETHLEHEM, PA, April 11, 2005 - ArtsQuest today announced that Olympus America Inc. is the principal sponsor for its 10-day music festival, Musikfest, which takes place in downtown Bethlehem, PA, each August.

Olympus, currently based in Melville, N.Y., has agreed to be the principal sponsor of the festival for 2005 and 2006. The company previously announced that it is relocating its North American headquarters to the Stabler Center in Center Valley, PA in the summer of 2006.

"We are extremely pleased to announce this exciting, new partnership with Olympus America," said Jeff Parks, President of ArtsQuest. "Olympus has long been known for its community involvement. Its sponsorship of Musikfest reinforces its commitment to the Lehigh Valley, while helping ensure our nonprofit festival continues to present the best in musical and family entertainment."

"As a principal sponsor, and future corporate resident, we are proud to help make Musikfest available to the residents of and many visitors to the Lehigh Valley during this festival," said F. Mark Gumz, President and Chief Operating Officer of Olympus America Inc. Gumz added that the event also provides a wonderful forum for Olympus to reinforce its entry into the digital music player business while also showcasing other aspects of its consumer electronics and healthcare technology for attendees.

Musikfest, which takes place Aug. 5-14 this year, features more than 300 musical performers on 13 indoor and outdoor stages throughout Bethlehem's historic downtown.
