Olympus Unveils A Redesigned Trade Show Booth at The 2006 AORN Annual Meeting
Orangeburg, NY, May 10, 2006 - Olympus Surgical America, a global leader in designing and delivering advanced and innovative healthcare solutions, has unveiled an ultra-modern trade show booth at this year’s Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
The new booth, with its open and inviting layout, is fitted with water-filled panels and is constructed from a modular design, which allows various configurations. The versatility of the structure, built by Gilbert Displays, permits full utilization of an interactive area, where healthcare professionals can customize the company’s new 'Alpha OR' integrated surgical endoscopy system. The Alpha OR area features a single boom design that promotes ease of use and fast equipment set-up. Additionally, the flexibility of the booth allows for quick changing of the workstations to accommodate specific specialty and equipment requirements.
The new booth is equipped with a number of technological innovations, including the new EVIS EXERA II™ high-definition (HD) endoscopy system - the world’s first integrated video system designed specifically for application across all medical and surgical endoscopy. To complement the system, high definition flat screen monitors display breathtaking images, with an amazing level of detail and color reproduction, from the company’s new line of HD scopes. The booth also features real-time computer vision technology to isolate and track hand movements, converting simple gestures to direct mouse control.
The new booth reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions to healthcare practitioners, serving as an excellent way to showcase Olympus' total product and service solutions directly to healthcare professionals.
