How do I subscribe?

First, download a news reader, or find your browser's built-in news reader. You can even use the built-in reader in Olympus Master 2 software. Second, simply point your news reader to Olympus America's RSS channel:

What is an RSS news feed?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a Web feed format that pushes frequently updated site content to subscribers. RSS content, or a "feed," is generally a summary of newly updated content from the associated Web site. Olympus America's RSS feed makes it easy for you to stay informed about new products and promotions, without having to check olympusamerica.com or getolympus.com every day.

You can add a variety of news feeds (or channels) to your reader, which makes it easy to view news and information, from a variety of Web sites, in one place.

What is a news reader?

An RSS reader checks a subscriber's feed content and automatically downloads updated news and information. The reader keeps all your feeds in one easy-to-access location.

Does Olympus provide a news reader?

Yes! There is a free built-in RSS news reader inside the photo editing software Olympus Master 2. If you don't already have Olympus Master 2, you can grab the free download here.

What feeds are available from Olympus America?

Our current RSS feed provides news and information about our consumer electronic products -- digital and film cameras, voice recorders and binoculars. Stop back periodically; we may add more channels soon.
