radio frequency (RF) Instrumentation
Overview
Olympus offers two radio frequency products. Celon for the treatment of hypertrophic turbinates and soft palate and Somnoplasty, which treats turbinates, soft palate, base of tongue, and tonsils.
CelonLab ENT Generator
The CelonLab ENT generator is the intelligent power control unit used for the deployment of the bipolar radio frequency in supported procedures. It is simple to use and provides automatic monitoring and regulation of the entire soft coagulation process.
Celon ProBreath
Celon ProBreath is the bipolar RFITT applicator for submucosal volume reduction of hyperplastic nasal turbinates, developing predictably sized lesions in 4-10 seconds, safely and gently.
Celon ProSleep Plus
Celon ProSleep Plus is the bipolar RFITT applicator for submucosal coagulation in the soft palate to tighten the velum palatinum for the treatment of habitual snoring.
G3 RF Workstation
The G3 RF Workstation forms a versatile platform for Head and Neck surgery. The G3 RF generator will automatically configure itself for the Temperature-Controlled Radio Frequency (TCRF) operation dependent on the accessory attached.
Somnoplasty Dual or Single-Channel Base of Tongue Handpieces
Olympus offers two different handpieces for base of tongue procedures. A dual-channel radio frequency handpiece for creating predictable dual-site lesions and a single-channel radio frequency handpiece for single site lesion creation.
Somnoplasty Turbinate Handpiece
Create predictable lesions in the inferior turbinates using the temperature controlled radio frequency technology.
Somnoplasty Palate Handpiece
Using the temperature controlled radio frequency technology, create predictable lesions in the soft palate.
