Below you will find information on how to have your Olympus Scientific products repaired and serviced, what is covered in general by your warranty, and tips on how and where to ship your product. Direct Repair Services

RMA process for Olympus Direct Repairs
SEG Technical Services in Center Valley, Pennsylvania does not accept incoming repairs without a Return Authorization approval. Most of our Advanced Imaging Systems are supported directly by Olympus America Incorporated.  Your Olympus Sales or Imaging Representative can help you determine if an Olympus Field Service Engineer is required. You may also call our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) support line at 1-800-446-5967 and press option three (3) if you have questions related to an application or the operation of your imaging system.  
  
Olympus Scientific Equipment Group provides Authorized Olympus Service and Repair Dealers for Core Microscope products, preventative maintenance and professional cleaning services. You may contact our Service Dealers directly by clicking on the "Authorized Service Center" link above.

Any questions or concerns with the use and or support of an Olympus Authorized Service Dealers should be directed to our corporate headquarters at 1-484-896-5255. 

Shipping Tips:

If you need to ship your microscope to Olympus or to an Olympus authorized service center please package the product carefully using ample padding material to prevent damage in transit and ship it postage prepaid and insured to the nearest authorized Olympus service center.

When returning Products for service, your package should include the following:

  • Return authorization from your Olympus Service Dealer
  • Invoice showing date of purchase
  • Copy of the limited warranty bearing the product serial number corresponding to the serial number on the product
  • A detailed description of the problem
  • Contact information  

Olympus will not be held responsible for damage due to shipping and or inadequate packaging.  Please contact your Olympus Sales Representative if you have any questions regarding packaging standards or proper packaging methods at 1-800- 446-5967 and press option three (3).
